　　ENGLISH, SO I AM HAPPY

　　Dear teachers, students:

　　I am very happy to meet with you here today to tell you my speech is entitled "English, so I am happy."

　　English, spread to all over the world, people talk about memorization. Since my time in first grade began to learn English, I was not interested in it, but the third and fourth grade, when a sudden interest in reading in English every day, and even self-learning, to raise a lot of English results .

　　Now, my greatest interest is the time to see the English. Each weekend, I always find time to read English books or see on the English comic books, information books, and even outside the time when shopping, but also with some English information on the book, simply put it down.

　　Each school, I sometimes went to the library of books on English, a view that is 30 minutes, the harvest has been so many.

　　Hello everybody, my name is 。。。 , I’m a fifth grade student now. I like sing and dance, I has been involved in many performances. I like to learn English very much. As everyone knows, English is more and more important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well, we will have more chance to succeed. But for myself, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it. I love English, it gives me a colorful dream. It's fortunate for me to take part in this English speech contest that I must catch the chance. I did my best to exercise English everyday to get a good result. I am an outgoing girl, so I have a lot of friends. We study and play together everyday, we help each other to do better. My father works at the government and my mother is a teacher. They are strict to me, I love them very much. Because been taken effects by my mum, I dream to be a teacher one day, so I can teach students much useful knowledge. Teacher is an honorable occupation，I love it very much.

　　I am very glad to make a speech here! This time, I’d like to talk something about English.

　　I love English. English is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language. More than one –third people in the world can speak English. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

　　When I was seven, I began to learn English at school. In the classroom, I played games and sang English songs with other classmates. Then I found the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

　　Everyday, I read English and listen to the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons and listen to English songs. Now, I can sing several English songs.

　　On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

　　I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Harvard University, because it’s very famous in the world. Of course, I want to go to England too, because England is where English language comes. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge and Oxford, I will be very happy.

　　When I learn English well, I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I’ll introduce our China to them, introduce our ZhangYe to them, and introduce our Jin an yuan school to them.

　　I know, Rome was not built in a day. But I believe that after my continuous hard study, I can speak English very well.

　　I believe as I love English everyday, it will love me too.
