are hard to get rid of. as people have to breathe, eat and drink them, they directly or indirectly
affect bodily functions and cause many infectious diseases.
since we know where the pollutantse from and their harmfulness, we should take
steps to clear away the sources of the pollution and establish a set of regulations to keep our
environment free from pollution.
traveling
people who like traveling have their reasons. they maintain that traveling can help them
expand their scope of knowledge, especially geographical and historical learning. they go on
to point out that touring will provide more chance for them to enjoy food and try on clothes
that they otherwise can not possibly have.
those, however, who dislike traveling have different opinions . they would argue
that traveling means a considerable amount of money and energy. for example, traffic and
amodation require money and walking while seeing sights often tires you.
in practice traveling offers more enjoyment than suffering. if your finance and health
permit, you might as well do some traveling from time to time. it will at least enable you to
get familiar with people and things that you will probably grow to like and love.
part-time job
there are many advantages in working park-time while you are in school. firstly, a parttime
job offers you a chance to demonstrate your ability and to apply what you have learned
in school. secondly, a part-time job helps you be more independent of your family.
thirdly, the experience that you gain through part-time work may be of great help to your
future career. finally, a part-time job can broaden school life.
however, a part-time job has some disadvantages. for example, you may lose time
needed for sleep, rest, study, club activities, and recreation. working several hours a day
consumes a lot of time and energy and may affect study. as a result, you may find it hard to
adjust to what the school expects from you as well as your employer has right to expect.
because of the advantages and disadvantages of a part-time job, you have to strike a
balance between school and the job. as a student, acquiring more knowledge, especially more
book learning, is your first important task. although a part-time job can do you a world of
good, you should not spend too much time on it.
