　　The City Mouse and the Country Mouse

　　Once there were two mice. They were good friends. One lived in the country, and the other lived in the city.

　　One day, the country mouse invited the city mouse to his home in the country. The city mouse went. But he said, “I don’t like your house. It’s very small and dirty. I don’t like your food too. It’s terrible. You must come to my home in the city. It’s much better than yours.”

　　So the country mouse went. He saw the city mouse’s house was very nice. When they were eating the delicious food, the city mouse shouted suddenly, “Hurry up. The cat is coming. Run! Run!

　　The country mouse was hardly caught by the cat. He said to the city mouse, “Your home is very nice but not safe, so I don’t like it. I still like living in the country.”

　　1. 城里老鼠和乡下老鼠

　　从前有两只老鼠，是好朋友。一只在乡下住，另一只则住在城里。

　　一天，乡下老鼠请城里老鼠去乡下的他家，城里老鼠去了。但是他说：“我不喜欢你的家。它既小又脏。我也不喜欢你的食物，太难吃了。你一定要来我城里的家，比你的好多了。

　　所以乡下老鼠去了。他看见城里老鼠的房子非常好。当它们吃美味东西时，城里老鼠突然叫了起来：“快跑！猫来了！快跑！快跑！”

　　乡下老鼠差点被猫抓住。它对城里老鼠说：“你的家非常好但不安全，所以我不喜欢它。

　　我还是喜欢住在乡下。”

　　2、 The Monkey and the  Peaches

　　One day, a monkey was looking for food. He came to a fence. There were a lot of big peaches inside the fence. The monkey tried to get into. But he failed. At last, he found a hole in the fence. But the hole was too small for him to go through.

　　“What should I do?” the monkey thought. He wandered around the fence.

　　Day after day, the monkey became thinner and thinner. At last, he could get through the fence.

　　He ate a lot of peaches. So became fatter and fatter.

　　He wanted to go outside, but the hole was too small for him. He couldn’t eat any more! He waited and waited. Eventually, he became thin enough to go out.

　　2、猴子和桃子

　　一天，一只猴子正在观察食物。他来到一个篱笆前。有很多大桃子在篱笆里。猴子试着进去，但是他太胖了。最后，他发现有一个洞在篱笆上。但是洞太小，无法进入。

　　“我该怎么做？”猴子想。他在篱笆外绕来绕去。

　　日复一日，猴子越来越瘦。最后，他能通过篱笆了。

　　他吃了一堆桃子，所以他变得越来越胖。

　　他想出去，但洞口对于他来说太小了。他不能吃任何东西了！他等啊等，最终，他变得非常瘦，出去了。
